Tia’s First Super Sunday follows Tia, a curious little girl experiencing the magic of Super Sunday in New Orleans for the very first time. Surrounded by brass bands, Mardi Gras Indians, and Baby Dolls, Tia is swept into a colorful celebration of tradition and togetherness.
With a magical parasol and encouragement from her mama and the Creole Cuties, Tia learns she’s not just watching the culture, she’s part of it. Perfect for children ages 4–12, this story introduces New Orleans culture through the eyes of a young girl discovering where she belongs. A joyful reminder that culture is alive and meant to be passed on.
