The Creole Cuties were born out of love, for culture, for sisterhood, and for the next generation of powerful young girls in New Orleans.
Founded by culture bearer Tinice “Tee” Boudreaux, affectionately known as Baby Doll Sparkle, the Creole Cuties is an all-youth Baby Doll group created to preserve one of New Orleans’ most sacred and often overlooked traditions: the Baby Doll masking tradition. As a Baby Doll herself, Tee understood how important it was not only to honor the legacy of the women who came before her, but to make sure that young girls today could see themselves as part of that legacy too.
The Creole Cuties is more than just a performance group. It is a movement rooted in empowerment, pride, and culture. Through mentorship, cultural education, and sisterhood, the Cuties learn what it means to walk in their power and represent something bigger than themselves.
Our mission is to keep the Baby Doll tradition alive by passing it directly to the next generation through storytelling, crafting, performing, and most importantly, showing up together in joy and unity. We believe every little girl deserves to know that her culture is beautiful, her roots are powerful, and she is a walking piece of history in the making.
